'ambiguity'

Few folks who looked at the actual painting were unable to visualize, so I am going to describe it briefly.
Right on the edge of a cliff, there is a tree, broken and sliced; and a part of it is still over the ground
while the other dangling piece has fallen in to the cliff; and the disproportional flower is certainly
part of the tree but its role is ambiguous
